Xi’an is a city with intense historical and cultural atmosphere. It is one of the origins of Chinese civilization and it is the starting point of Silk Road. It is also one of the four ancient capitals, with 13 dynasties having taken it as capital. Its position as the center of politics, economy and culture has lasted for more than 1100 years. Shaanxi History Museum is a museum showing the history of Xi’an civilization. The exhibition articles ranges from stone instrument in ancient times to objects used in modern times, with a total number of more than 370,000 pieces. The exhibits include bronze and stone instruments, pottery wares, tomb frescos, building materials, mirrors, gold, silver and jade tools and currencies in every dynasty.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda can be said an open park for relax. The musical fountain in the north square is the biggest one in Asia and the sculpture groups in it are also splendid. Moreover, there are gardens around and Tang Ever-lighting Area are not far.
